Description
No. 3 of 3 Produced, 825 Miles · Lot U86 · Kissimmee 2027 - 825 miles since new - No. 3 of 3 Dale Earnhardt Signature Series Camaros built - Sold new at Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet in Newton, North Carolina - The Earnhardt Signature Series received ground effects and a front valance, a Black paint scheme inspired by Earnhardt’s no. 3 NASCAR that features red and silver striping, Goodwrench Racing decals (hood and rear fenders), Dale Earnhardt no. 3 graphics (doors) and a listing of years for Earnhardt’s seven Winston Cup Championships on the back - The leather interior features hand-sewn checkered flag seat inserts and Dale Earnhardt Signature Series headrest embroidery - SLP upgrades include a lightweight composite “stinger” hood with cold air induction, performance exhaust system, upgraded sway bars, 17x9-inch ZR1-style 5-spoke wheels with BFGoodrich Comp T/A tires, a Hurst short-throw shifter, a restyled deck-lid spoiler, Z28 SS floor mats and a no. 255 commemorative SS console plaque - The original owner, Emmett Garlock, purchased the car directly from Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet and transported it to his home in Florida. When Garlock moved to North Carolina in 1997, the Camaro was registered with the 1 of 3 license plate currently with the car. In 2000, the car had only been driven 509 miles when Garlock moved to Maryland and was forced to apply for a new title. Most of the 800 miles logged during Garlock’s ownership were for obtaining state safety inspections and emissions tests to maintain insurance on the Camaro. The original owner cared for the car until 2008, when it was sold to a major Dale Earnhardt car collector, who kept it until 2019, when it was purchased by Dana and Patti Mecum.
