Description
KEY FACTS A rare and luxurious long-wheelbase V12 luxury sedan, representing the final evolution of Daimler's flagship Double Six, offered here in desirable Centenary specification. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.0-litre V12, driving the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. A Japanese-market example, this Double Six was recently imported into Australia, where it was first registered in June 2026. This is one of only 100 V12-equipped Daimler Centenaries produced. The odometer indicates 75,714 km, though this is not warranted. Build year: 1996 EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES Created to mark the 100th anniversary of Daimler Motor Cars, the ‘Century’ or ‘Centenary’ model name was applied to 100 six-cylinder and 100 twelve-cylinder X300-generation cars. All were based on the long-wheelbase chassis, and were particularly well-appointed, with every usually optional extra fitted as standard, as well as chromed wheels, electrically adjustable rear seats, embroidered headrests and unique polished sill plates bearing the ‘Century’ or ‘Centenary’ name. This example is finished in an appealing shade of green, over a cream and beige leather-trimmed interior, featuring beige seat piping and seat belts, as well as chrome and wood veneer trim. Equipment includes cruise control, switchable transmission modes, automatic air conditioning, a Jaguar-branded cassette stereo with a CD multichanger, fold-out rear picnic tables, electrically adjustable heated rear seats, a Harman/Kardon sound system, and electrically adjustable heated front seats with three-position memory. The car is accompanied by its Japanese owner’s handbooks in a green leather wallet, three keys and two remote fobs.
