1996 Ford Bronco XL

1996 Ford Bronco XLT 4x4 – 5.0L V8 – Factory 5-Speed Manual – Two Owners

This final-model-year 1996 Ford Bronco XLT has been in my ownership since March 2011. I am only the second owner, and the CARFAX documents its two-owner history from new, with both owners reporting personal use.

The Bronco is powered by its 5.0-liter/302ci EFI V8 and factory 5-speed manual transmission, with four-wheel drive and a manual-shift transfer case. It currently shows approximately 101,920 original miles. When I purchased it on March 7, 2011, it had just 81,984 miles, meaning I have driven it only about 20,000 miles during more than 15 years of ownership.

The CARFAX reports no accidents or damage, no structural damage, no total loss, no odometer rollback, and no salvage, rebuilt, flood, fire, hail or lemon title brands.

During my ownership, the Bronco received a complete repaint in black. At that time, existing rust was addressed properly, including repair and replacement of affected wheel-well and body metal rather than simply covering it with paint.
