1996 Ford F-150 XLT

Vehicle Description 1996 Ford F-150 $20,500 Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is proud to present this 1996 Ford F-150 XLT, finished in White over a Gray interior. Power comes from Ford's 302 CID 5.0-liter V8 paired with an automatic transmission, giving this pickup classic ninth-generation F-Series styling backed by traditional Ford small-block V8 power. One of the standout features of this F-150 is the extensive collection of maintenance and repair documentation accompanying the truck. Records span multiple years and cover work involving the engine, cooling system, fuel system, suspension, brakes, electrical components, and routine maintenance. The suspension and front end have received considerable documented attention. In 2018, a 1.5-inch front suspension leveling kit was installed using replacement front springs, followed by an alignment, with the invoice also noting shock installation. Additional records document replacement of the upper and lower ball joints, front wheel bearings and seals, caster/camber bushings, and further alignment work. Rear wheel-cylinder service is also documented. The fuel system has also been serviced extensively over the years. Records document work involving the fuel tank selector system, rear fuel pump and sender assembly, and more recent replacement of the front fuel pump and fuel filter in 2024. Additional recent maintenance includes replacement of the serpentine drive belt, belt tensioner, idler pulley, heater hose, and coolant. Engine and cooling-system documentation includes a cooling-system flush, oxygen sensor replacement, ignition-related service, and a 2021 repair involving replacement of the water pump and timing cover-related components. Oil and filter services are also represented throughout the records. Other documented repairs include replacement window lift motors and ignition lock cylinder service. Together, the collection provides a substantial paper trail showing maintenance performed across many of the truck's major systems rather than documentation limited to routine oil changes. Inside, the Gray cabin retains the straightforward and functional layout associated with this generation of F-Series. Equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, power locks, power steering, power brakes, and an AM/FM radio. The White exterior is complemented by the clean, squared-off styling that has made this generation of Ford pickup increasingly recognizable among enthusiasts.
