And it would probably be driven in the winter. All of the surface rust on front end components that were only primered from the factory were descaled, and the entire bottom cleaned and coated with an anticrosion primer. I cannot believe that you find a nicer 2006 S320 just over 50,000 miles that is in better total condition than this car. It was garaged always, always serviced up to date and is near perfect as a carpets age can be. I have gone through the car and taken my mechanic’s advice and done everything he suggests that I do. As for the wiring harness on the engine, one of the first things I check is the wiring harness. Wiring harness is in good order and appears to have been replaced at some point. We found no issues with the wiring harness. 2. This vehicle does not have air suspension. 3. I have asked for new VMI to be run updated moment it’s in my hands. 4. The only thing I question is inflatable lumbar. It appears to periodically work. Other than that, everything in this car works starts shifts drives operates perfectly. It is perfectly finished and the color matches perfectly. I have measured the paint on the entire hood, and the numbers are consistent throughout which would not be the case if repairs had been made. All this leads me to believe it was painted for a cosmetic reason. There are a few very minor marks on the finish. As the entire car except the hood is original paint, I thought it best to leave them as they are. There are no door dings. Do have questions… First I don’t see anything listed showing that the wiring harness had been replaced on the car…do you have anything that shows that from the long-standing Dealer? Kind of a biggie on these cars of that vintage. Second, does this have the air suspension? I don’t think these did, as I know the 500s and the 600s pretty much had them, but it appears that it’s just got the straight coil and shock suspension, which is great from a maintenance standpoint. Just confirming… Lastly, you show the beginning of the VMI, but where is the rest of it? That would really answer a lot of the remaining questions regarding what happened to the car over its life, as that is the life record of the car. Great to see the rest of that. The one Owner one Dealer aspect of this is what makes it very interesting… Looking forward to more information, including maybe a function video showing that everything is actually working like the windows, doors, vacuum, sunroof, lights, etc.… Thank you.!August 19th, 20
