Description
The 993 Carrera 4S paired the wide, Turbo-derived bodywork of the 911 Turbo with a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six and all-wheel drive, and it remains among the most sought-after air-cooled 911 variants. This 1996 Porsche 993 Carrera 4S is finished in Arena Red Metallic over a Cashmere Beige leather interior and sends power to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. Equipment also includes 18” Technology hollow-spoke wheels, a 12-way power-adjustable driver seat, an 8-way power-adjustable passenger seat, an upgraded Bluetooth-capable head unit, cruise control, and more. Acquired by the seller in November 2013 and thoroughly serviced, this 993 C4S is now being offered for auction in Minnesota showing approximately 126k miles on the odometer.
The 993 Carrera 4S features wider rear bodywork than a standard Carrera along with a Turbo-derived front air dam. This example left the factory in Arena Red Metallic and has since been refinished. Accessories include Tore Bergvill HID headlights with washers, clear corner-marker lenses, a Gert's front protection bar, brake cooling ducts, heated power mirrors, a power sunroof, black rear bumperettes, a speed-activated rear spoiler, a rear wiper delete, and dual wide oval exhaust tips. It rides on 18" Technology hollow-spoke wheels mounted with Bridgestone Potenza tires, and the seller notes that paint protection film has been applied to portions of the exterior along with a ceramic coating. The CARFAX reports minor damage in March 2020, which the seller states this resulted from a low-speed shoulder drop while avoiding a deer, with no structural or frame damage, and that the incident prompted a high-quality full body respray along with replacement of the bumper covers, exhaust components, body seals, exterior trim, rocker panels, and windshield. Detailed images and bodywork documentation are provided in the gallery.
