This 1997 Land Rover Defender 90 is one of approximately 2,800 North American-Specification examples imported into the US for the model year, and it was acquired by the current owner in 2014. Finished in Arles Blue over Slate Gray vinyl, the truck is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 linked with a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. It has been retrofitted with a suspension lift kit and a Sony CD/cassette stereo, and additional equipment includes a Warn front winch, a front brush guard, a hitch receiver, a roll cage, 16″ alloy wheels, power-assisted disc brakes, a locking center console, and inward-facing rear jump seats.
