1997 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa 6-Speed

This 1997 Porsche 911 Carrera is a black-over-Cashmere Targa that shows 14k miles and has been registered in Texas, Arizona, and Louisiana from new. The car appeared on BaT in May 2019 , and it has spent most of its time in storage since it was purchased by its current owner in June 2019. Power is from a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle, and equipment includes 17″ two-piece Targa wheels, a power-operated glass roof panel, a Porsche CDR-210 stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. This 993 Targa is now offered on consignment by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner , with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Louisiana title. The 993 Targa was based on the convertible bodyshell and featured a revised roof with a lifting and sliding glass center section as opposed to the removable top found on earlier 911 Targa models. This example is finished in black (L741) and features headlight washers, fog lights, power-adjustable mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, a “basket handle” fixed rear spoiler with an integrated third brake light, and dual exhaust outlets. The windshield cowl trim has been repainted. An imperfection is noted on the front-right fender.
