Painstakingly restored with a frame-off approach, this Japanese-imported Mini was reimagined as a 1964 Morris MK1 Cooper—with the quality and craftsmanship to match. Finished in show-quality Honda S2000 Red, this Mini pairs timeless aesthetics with real-world drivability, thanks to cold A/C, a rebuilt engine, and modern conveniences.Power comes from a fully rebuilt 1.3L fuel-injected engine (SPI) with upgraded electronic ignition. It runs cool, maintains excellent oil pressure, and performs confidently even at cruising speeds. The car features fully rebuilt suspension front and rear, new Cooper S–spec 7.5” front disc brakes, and sharp handling. A set of 10x6 GB wheels wrapped in new Yokohama A008 tires provide grip and vintage appeal. The exterior is where this Mini truly shines. From its MK1 grille and bumpers to the LED Lucas P700 headlamps and expertly installed Keith’s Convertible Kit, every element evokes the best of 1960s British motoring. Chrome details, a tinted top windshield, and a fold-down rear plate bracket complete the authentic look.Inside, red Audi leather upholstery adds a high-end feel, complemented by a wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel with original Cooper horn button. New Magnolia-style gauges, crank windows with logo handles, and aluminum ‘Cooper’-branded trim further elevate the experience. Even the smallest touches, like a Union Jack door pocket, show the care that went into this build. With its show-stopping looks, open-air driving feel, and reliable modern underpinnings, this Rover Mini is an ideal choice for collectors, enthusiasts, or anyone seeking a unique blend of vintage charm and practical fun.
