1998 BMW Z3 M Roadster

Introduced in 1997 as the high-performance version of the Z3 roadster, the M Roadster features more aggressive bodywork, widened rear fenders, larger brakes, a retuned suspension, and, in North American form, the S52 inline-six borrowed from the E36 M3. This example is one of 2,763 M Roadsters produced for the 1998 model year and one of 1,165 finished in Cosmos Black Metallic over Black Nappa leather, and it has been extensively modified by Dinan with Stage 3 performance engine software, a cold air intake, a high-flow throttle body, a front strut tower brace, carbon fiber engine covers, and a complete cooling-system overhaul. Carrying factory hardtop preparation, this Z3 M is now being offered for auction in Virginia.

Finished in Cosmos Black Metallic, this M Roadster features the model's widened rear fenders, a power-operated soft top, a green-stripe windshield, and heated washer nozzles. The car rides on its factory wheels wrapped in Continental tires from 2023. The seller describes the paint as near-flawless and states that the hood and driver's-side quarter panel have been repainted.
