1998 Ford F-150 Supercharged Coyote Restomod

Vehicle Description 1998 Ford F-150 $52,995 If you missed out on the second generation of Ford's iconic F-150 Lightning, the bad news is that prices for those trucks have skyrocketed as of late. The good news, however, is that this 1998 Ford F-150 Supercharged Coyote Restomod we have for you today offers an arguably better, faster package at a more reasonable price. This short-bed standard cab has been fully repainted in a custom blend of black paint, with a painted bed and bumpers, and finished off with tinted head and taillights. And with just 250 miles on its odometer since it was rebuilt, there is plenty of electricity left in this truck, even without the official 'Lightning' designation. Inside, we find a fully restored black leather interior, complete with red diamond-stitched seat trim. A power driver's seat sits ahead of a factory dashboard, upgraded with Dakota Digital analog-style gauges. A center console provides extra storage, while a Pioneer AM/FM/AUX head unit offers Bluetooth connectivity, allowing for far more entertainment options than when this truck was new. Simple dial-based HVAC controls make it easy to put on the heat or air conditioning without having to take your eyes of the fast-approaching road ahead. Under the hood, we find a wicked 5.0-liter supercharged Coyote V-8 engine. With its performance-focused heads and cam, the Whipple blower will push you back in your seat as only a supercharger can. A full stainless steel dual exhaust, complete with long tube headers and sweet-sounding FlowMaster mufflers give this muscle truck the ability to flex whenever you feel the urge. That massive power is routed through a 10R80 ten-speed automatic transmission before heading out to the 8.8-inch rear end and on to the rear wheels, where big 22-inch KRNC wheels shod in 305/40ZR-22 Nitto rubber wait to put that power to the pavement. Up front, a staggered set of 20-inch KRNC wheels wrapped in 275/40ZR-20 rubber handles steering duties with aplomb. Underneath the frame and suspension is all powder coated and rear end narrowed to accommodate the custom rear rims.
