KEY FACTS This Rover Mini Cooper is a charming late-production example of the iconic front-wheel-drive hot hatch, combining the timeless character of the classic Mini with the more refined specification of the final Rover-era models. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 1,275cc inline-four, driving the front wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. This 1998 model-year example was originally delivered to Belgium, and is offered for sale on behalf of its reportedly third owner since new. The odometer indicates 64,174 km, though this is not warranted. EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES This Mini Cooper is finished in an appealing shade of metallic blue with a contrasting white roof, bonnet stripes, coachlines, and door mirrors, as well as a black and silver Union Jack decal on the roof. Inside, the cabin features beige cloth upholstery with contrasting black seat piping and carpets, a black dashboard, a wood veneer dashboard inlay and door cappings, and chrome trim highlights. It rides on a set of 13-inch eight-spoke alloy wheels fitted with Nankang AS-1 tyres. Equipment includes quad front spotlights, a heated rear screen, a black and beige leather-trimmed steering wheel, push-out rear windows, an analogue clock, heater and ventilation controls, and magnolia dials.
