1998 Pontiac Grand Prix

1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Supercharged 3800 V6 34,708 Original Miles Since New A true standout among late-90s performance sedans, this 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Supercharged is an exceptionally preserved, award-winning example that has remained in the same family since new. Showing just 34,708 original miles and backed by a clean Carfax with recorded mileage, this car represents a rare opportunity to own one of the best-kept GTPs available today. It was awarded an AACA National First Prize at Hershey, Pennsylvania in 2023, and the grille plaque is included, further validating the level of preservation and presentation. Finished in a beautiful Bright Red exterior over a like-new tan leather interior, the car has an unmistakable presence and presents at a level far above typical examples. There is no indication of paintwork or repairs, and the original finish remains exceptionally well preserved. The undercarriage is equally impressive, showing clean, original condition with no undercoating, allowing the integrity of the car to be clearly seen. This is the kind of untouched preservation that collectors actively look for. Under the hood sits the legendary supercharged 3800 V6, an engine known for its durability, torque, and strong performance. Paired with a smooth automatic transmission, the car delivers a refined yet surprisingly quick driving experience, exactly what made the GTP such a standout in its day. The car starts, runs, and drives excellent, with cold air conditioning and a solid, well-sorted feel on the road. The interior is remarkably clean and well preserved, featuring tan leather seating that shows like new along with a premium sound system, premium lighting package, and a heads-up display—an advanced feature for its time that adds to the driver-focused experience. A rear deck spoiler and 16-inch polished wheels complete the car's sporty yet refined look. Included with the car is a folder of service records documenting its care over the years, reinforcing the meticulous ownership history. With its one-family ownership, extremely low mileage, award-winning status, and original condition throughout, this Grand Prix GTP easily qualifies for collector car insurance and stands as one of the finest examples remaining. This is not just another GTP—it's a time capsule, a show winner, and a true must see and drive for anyone who appreciates well-preserved modern classics.
