1999 Ford Lightning SVT F-150 Pickup

Vehicle Description 1999 Ford Lightning $39,900 Zoom Classic Cars presents this 1999 Ford SVT F-150 Lightning Pickup. Single owner from new with only 42,517 original miles. When Ford\'s Special Vehicle Team (SVT) introduced the second-generation F-150 Lightning for the 1999 model year, it forever changed the perception of factory-built performance pickups. Combining supercharged V8 power, sports-car-inspired handling, and everyday drivability, the Lightning quickly became one of the fastest production trucks on the road and remains one of the most iconic performance vehicles ever produced by Ford. Offered here is an exceptional and loaded 1999 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning showing just 42,517 original miles. Purchased brand new by its original owner, this remarkable truck has been meticulously maintained, always garage kept, and carefully preserved throughout its life. It represents an increasingly rare opportunity to own a highly original, unmodified SVT Lightning with documented single ownership and exceptionally low mileage. Finished in Black Clearcoat over a beautifully preserved Medium Graphite SVT leather interior, this Lightning presents exactly as one would expect from a truck that has been cherished since new. The factory leather seats have been protected with seat covers since day one and remain in outstanding condition. Power comes from the legendary SVT 5.4-liter SOHC Triton V8 equipped with an Eaton Roots-style supercharger and intercooler, producing a factory-rated 360 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque. The supercharged V8 is paired with the heavy-duty 4R100 four-speed automatic transmission, while a Traction-Lok limited-slip rear axle helps put the power to the pavement with authority. SVT engineers didn\'t stop at the drivetrain. The Lightning received an extensive list of factory performance upgrades including a high-capacity engine oil cooler, auxiliary transmission cooler, performance-calibrated suspension with SVT-specific springs, specially tuned shock valving, larger front and rear stabilizer bars, power-assisted four-wheel disc ABS brakes, quick-ratio power steering, and a lowered performance chassis that transformed the F-150 into one of the best-handling trucks of its era.Factory equipment includes:SVT 5.4L Supercharged SOHC V8 with intercooler,360 horsepower / 440 lb-ft of torque,4R100 heavy-duty automatic transmission,Engine oil cooler,Auxiliary transmission cooler,Traction-Lok limited-slip rear axle,SVT performance suspension,SVT springs and shock valving,Front and rear stabilizer bars,Power steering,Four-wheel power disc ABS brakes,Factory SVT dual exhaust with dual tips exiting on the sides,18 x 9.5-inch SVT Custom Black aluminum wheels,Medium Graphite SVT leather sport interior,Six-way power driver\'s seat,60/40 split bench seating,Center console with cup holders,SVT instrumentation package,Tilt steering wheel,Speed control (cruise control),Air conditioning,Remote keyless entry,Power windows,Power door locks,Dual power mirrors,Sliding rear windowFactory AM/FM stereo with cassette player,Factory floor mats,Fog lamps,Solar-tinted glass,Light Group,Intermittent windshield wipers,Driver and passenger airbags,Height-adjustable seat belts,Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS).The cargo bed has been protected since new with a professionally installed bed liner and matching bed cover, preserving its outstanding condition while adding everyday practicality. Truck rides on new Falken Azenis Tires mounted on the custom Lightning Black wheels. While modified examples remain common, finding a one-owner, low-mileage truck with factory documentation and careful ownership history has become increasingly difficult.
