These were THE AMG car to have. Everyone wanted a car touched by amg and to think you could get a hotrod sedan with a v8 was a big deal when these came out. What a concept! From the era when Benz build quality was top of the industry. A historic car - the first planned-from-scratch AMG/MB model - the first AMG/MB V8 officially offered through the US dealers (joined by the E55 in 1999), relatively rare then, even more so now. Sure to appreciate in the future. I know mine has since I bought it. No photos from accident since there was no visible damage from the accident, a few minor scratches that were corrected. It was three car collision in which the 3rd car struck the middle car which then light tapped the back of my car. We remained at the scene due to the other cars involved in the accident, that is why an accident is reported on the car history.
