Seems it'll be a bit time-consuming, maybe a little expensive regardless, but helpful to see what all's there as I unfortunately last year discovered what a nightmare California can be even when an under-hood emissions sticker has been damaged or partially scraped off. However, laws may vary from one state to another so I would check with your local state DMV in order to get accurate info. I have included in another post the name and website of a local exporter that can assist with the entire process for you.
