I look forward to watching the final hour and hope it goes to a wonderful home and to someone who will enjoy it as much as I have. Best! Do you know how the “park lock interlock” was modified? Can you shift from park to neutral without your foot on the brake? Nothing against the car, I’m trying to figure out the best way to put a later 722.636 into my ‘99 C43 too.May 12th, 2022 at 2:35pm EST$10,500 bid placed by @MikeemikeMay 12th, 2022 at 11:13am EST$8,500 bid placed by @MercfanMay 12th, 2022 at 10:14am ESTlakers91325 (6) 1@DavisB thanks for response. I was also able to see the second video on YouTube. Car looks great. Let’s see how it goes. Maybe I will be flying to Atlanta soon. 😊May 12th, 2022 at 10:14am EST$8,250 bid placed by @JoshMay 12th, 2022 at 10:03am ESTSlowrider (2) 1Worked at an MB dealership in college and loved when the GM said go gas up the C43. The pull and sound with the windows open was great at the age of 19. Wish I had room to bid on this fantastic example. May 12th, 2022 at 9:48am ESTDavisB (17) Seller 2@keenan_eugenio Thanks for reaching out, and yes that was probably me you saw at Caffeine and Octane. I enjoyed showing the car there over the years and meeting up with various AMG groups. RBM of Atlanta was always kind enough to let me participate and park with them too. Best of luck. It’s a fantastic at and whoever wins it will certain enjoy it. May 12th, 2022 at 9:16am ESTStuttgart_Steel (492) 0@DavisB I'm an Atlanta native and have actually seen your car in passing a few times and I want to say I've seen it at the Mercedes tent at C&O a few years ago unless there's an identical one rolling around. I've always wanted one of these and remember trying to find one back in 2012 when they were about $7k. It's been in my Top 10 obtainable dream car list for ages now. Hopefully we'll be getting together later this week to finish the transaction. I'll be here at 5:00 battling with these friendly LA people. Good luck to everyone! May 12th, 2022 at 7:06am ESTDavisB (17) Seller 1@lakers91325 The gas gauge works perfectly fine. I was trying to make a quick driving video and knew the car needed gas. I’ll fill the car up for whoever wins the auction. Also, I’ll try to send the team a video and have it uploaded in time. The engine is strong and runs amazing (never any leaks). I’m still amazed every time I crank this car and go for a drive. The performance is great and the engine pulls so hard. The driving experience is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. May 12th, 2022 at 4:06am EST$8,000 bid placed by @MercfanMay 12th, 2022 at 1:01am ESTlakers91325 (6) 0Thanks for the videos. I couldn’t get the second walk around video to play but the other two were fine. The engine sound on the video has me a bit concerned as this engine (which I have on my 2000 e430) shouldn’t sound so loud. I know the engine sound installation pad has torn off on one side. Is it like that on the other side as well? Could you also post a video of the engine running with the hood open, so I can get a better idea of the sound? Lastly, I noticed that you were driving with the fuel gauge on empty. Does the gauge work properly? Thanks. May 11th, 2022 at 10:03pm ESTlakers91325 (6) 1@DavisB any chance you have a copy of the emission test results from 2021? TYMay 11th, 2022 at 9:06pm ESTDavisB (17) Seller 1I will have the running videos and power functionality videos posted asap. May 11th, 2022 at 9:04pm ESTDavisB (17) Seller 1@lakers91325 I have driven it on a 700 mile round trip to Florida and back and it was great. It has also been through the North Carolina mountains with me numerous times. It’s solid and I believe in this car big time! May 11th, 2022 at 8:11pm ESTlakers91325 (6) 0Have you done any long distance driving in this? Would this make a drive to Los Angeles without any issues?May 11th, 2022 at 8:08pm ESTlakers91325 (6) 0I too would love to see some videos of the engine running, driving, and electrical functions please.
