This would have been a "companion" to one I have- it's too nice to call it a parts car!July 10th, 2025 at 3:03pm EST$7,500 bid placed by @HJSarafianJuly 10th, 2025 at 4:27am EST$7,000 bid placed by @JKPGJuly 7th, 2025 at 1:13pm ESTMrlynn (0) Seller 0@Stuttgart_Steel thank you for sharing your experiences!! Mine have been very similar!!July 7th, 2025 at 1:13pm ESTMrlynn (0) Seller 0@allmack I’m glad you got it! My previous diesel Mercedes experience was with an early 80’s 240D… so I thought this plate would be appropriate—but I didn’t realize how strong the turbo 606 was!July 7th, 2025 at 12:06pm ESTallmack (11) 0GREAT plates.July 7th, 2025 at 8:56am ESTStuttgart_Steel (492) 1Not sure if this matters at all or who will read it, but I also own a ‘99 E300 and it’s one of my favorite cars. Going for a hike a few hours away in the mountains? I grab the E300 keys. Early morning Home Depot run? Grab the E300 keys. Driving across town to shoot a E63 for auction? Grab the E300 keys. Driving to the beach 5 hours away? Grab the E300 keys. I get over 30 MPG on the highway and 29 MPG in brutal Atlanta traffic. I have 273k miles on mine and not a single creak or interior rattle. It’s dead quiet at 80 MPH and the A/C is literally the best I’ve felt, beating new cars. I swear it’s like the same compressor Costco uses for their freezers. Change glow plugs in tandem with your trans fluid every 60k miles (they like to fuse themselves with the cylinder heads) and they will run indefinitely. The OM606 can also make huge power with a few grand as well. This is basically a German diesel 2JZ-GTE. People love them for drift builds since they can make like 600 ft/lbs with a few grand. Anyways, good luck. Yours looks super nice. There are no leaks, and the plastic lines were replaced just before I purchased that car in 2023July 2nd, 2025 at 10:55am ESTbenzwishes (1) 0ALL power options working? Windows, cruise, ac, stereo seats,,etc? Any leaks? When where the plastic fuels lines last replaced...they are prone to leaks
