Haven't had an accident or citation in over 30yrs. With that said, my use of the car has become limited with moving Utah to San Diego. This car needs to be driven. Thats what diesels are made for. In my humble opinion, the car could make a 10k mile trip without turning off the engine. It has typical minor dings and pitting that you would expect with 24yrs. Far from perfect from a cosmetic perspective, but I'll stand the mechanicsl aspects 100%. I have an early morning tomorrow, so it might not be until the evening for a close up of what what your looking at. Its been raining a lot here and the pan may have held some dirty water. Which answers your second question. Yes, it has the belly pan. I pulled it off for pictures. After inspection of both, they are still in exellent condition. Same with the shocks. Its possible they were replaced at some point.
