November 14th, 2021 at 6:53pm ESTc1096306 (2) 1Because you are a dealer will there be additional costs of tax, title, license, and doc fees?November 14th, 2021 at 2:38pm EST$8,277 bid placed by @PJmjaNovember 14th, 2021 at 2:38pm ESTthesheikh (70) Seller 1@99amgc43 as @49er said, I believe you can buy them new from MB. Much more cost effective to save this one though. It is definitely repairable and I got quotes from $400-600November 14th, 2021 at 1:13pm EST49er (11) 0@99amgc43 I checked a year or so ago and you could still get them through Mercedes. I was able to have mine professionally repaired though instead. Cost me about $600 to have the crack repaired and resprayed. November 14th, 2021 at 11:55am EST99amgc43 (3) 0Beautiful car... I wish I could get this one......good luck with the auction.November 5th, 2021 at 10:08am ESTthesheikh (70) Seller 3We are excited to represent this excellent example of an R129 as our first MB Market auction. This SL500 has been mostly garage kept and well maintained its entire life. It is a fully spec'd out model featuring the sport package, heated seats, xenon headlamps and factory pano top. There were only 4,103 firmweiss (143) R129s ever produced in the world. And one can imagine that these options were extremely rare paired with this color spec. We are firm believers that the R129 is one of the greatest Mercedes ever built – an overall well balanced vehicle in design, performance, and comfort. This chassis coupled with the buttery smooth M113 makes for a great daily driving experience for anyone. Good luck to everyone and may the MB Market counter be in your favor! Best, thesheikh
