Description
The R129-generation Mercedes-Benz SL600 was the flagship of the SL line at the time, pairing a naturally aspirated 6.0-liter M120 V12 with the model's removable hardtop and power soft top. This 1999 example is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic over Exclusive black Nappa leather and is equipped with self-leveling suspension with an Adaptive Damping System, xenon headlights, a Bose sound system, and 17" five-spoke alloy wheels. A three-owner car that has been garaged throughout, this SL600 is now being offered for auction in Michigan showing approximately 37k miles on the odometer.
Finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic, this SL600 features a matching removable hardtop and a black power-operated soft top, along with xenon headlights, fog lights, and fender air vents. The car rides on 17" five-spoke light-alloy wheels wrapped in 245/45 Falken Pro G6 Sport A/S tires installed in April 2025. Paint protection film is applied to the leading edges of the front bumper, hood, fenders, and mirrors, and the seller notes several small nicks and scratches in the paint and a repair to the soft top's right-rear window. The forward hydraulic cylinders for the soft top were replaced in preparation for the sale. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, occupants are greeted by an Exclusive black Nappa leather interior with burl wood accents on the doors and center stack. The heated power-adjustable seats offer memory, and further equipment includes a deployable roll bar, a removable wind deflector, automatic climate control, a garage door opener, and a Bose sound system. The seller notes smooth sections on the front seats with no cracks or tears, an intermittently illuminating ADS warning light attributed to a float issue, and a center-tunnel sliding cover that is stuck open, while confirming that all gauges function properly. A concealed radar detector is integrated into the front grille.
