Description
This 1999 Porsche 996 Carrera Coupe is a Japanese-market example that has been modified with a widebody kit by Sakura Products of Japan. Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Seal Grey leather interior, the car features widened fender flares with exposed hardware, a custom front lip, a ducktail-style rear decklid, custom coilover suspension, and rare 18” Panasport G7 three-piece wheels. Factory equipment includes a 5-speed Tiptronic transmission, heated power-adjustable front seats with lumbar support and driver memory, an onboard computer, Hi-Fi sound system, electric sunroof, and headlamp washers. Recently imported to the United States by the selling dealer, this distinctive Japanese-built 996 is now being offered for auction in Florida with approximately 81k miles showing on the odometer.
The Arctic Silver Metallic bodywork has been modified with Sakura Products wide fender flares secured by exposed hardware, giving the Carrera a substantially wider and more aggressive stance. Additional modifications include a custom front lip, a painted ducktail-style rear decklid, and rare 18” Panasport G7 three-piece wheels with custom color-matched faces. According to the seller, the fender flares and rear decklid have been refinished to match the body, while the remainder of the car retains its original paint and presents well overall with minor age- and mileage-related imperfections.
