2000 Donzi Marine 22 Classic

Description2000 22' Donzi Classic 502 mag MPI 73MPH GPS The timeless Donzi classic, Handles amazing in rough water and puts most boats of the same size and larger to shame in rough conditions. Has 502 mag MPI with bravo 1 drive and HD gimbal housing and HD bearing, Drive shower, Hardin intake, Stainless Marine 4 1/2" exhaust(ready for super charger)- most are 4" exhaust- seats are in excellent condition, gaffrig gauges with gps speedo, bilge pump, blower, nav lights, VHF with gps and antenna, 2 battery charging system, Dual batteries, battery switch, trim tabs, mercruiser quick connect flush system, 1 year for exhaust, new stereo with 4 speakers, Seadeck, cockpit cover and bimini top, seahawk tandem axle trailer with new tires, wheels and bearings. Gps speedo says 70mph but cell phone speed triangulates and is 73.4 mph with one person and a 27p mirage prop. I've tested tons of props and the 27p is a bit much but its great with one person. will do 70 with 2-3 people. It runs flawlessly starts up everytime and is a blast. Engine was flushed and then used saltaway everytime it was taken out of the water. This is the last year donzi put a 502 mag MPI in a 22 donzi, this engine has all forged internals from mercruiser and is a very reliable engine. These 502 mags can be super charged with a bolt on kit with no internal mods and run 93 octane 14psi of boost and run for a long time. couple a supercharger with a Imco -2 shorty and hydraulic steering and the boat will go 85-90mph and will be reliable. A old friend had that setup in a 22zx and it ran for a long time and then sold it, that boat ran in the 80's and is heavier. Unlike the 454, 496 and 496ho that usually come in the 22 donzi, you cant just supercharge them and have them be reliable (you can do it but expect problems) because the internals arent all forged like the 502 mag mpi. This is a rare engine setup for a 22 classic and hard to find! I also have a 1988 18ft donzi classic for sale with a 468 that does 90mph with 20 hours on new engine as well(in one of the pics) No Low ballers!!
