Description
This 2000 Ford Mustang GT convertible was modified into a pickup when new by Nick Gavriles of Auto Innovations in Walled Lake, Michigan, based on a design by George Barris. It is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in red over Dark Charcoal leather. Features include a custom pickup bed with a stainless-steel floor, a removable targa-style roof panel, a Classic Design Concepts Shaker hood, a Cervini’s Stalker front bumper cover, 17″ Colorado Custom billet wheels, articulated front sport seats, remote keyless entry, and a CD changer. The selling dealer acquired the car in 2025. This Barris-customized New Edge Mustang is now offered as a running project in Tennessee by the selling dealer at no reserve with a clean Carfax report and a clean Montana title. The car underwent a pickup-style conversion, which involved removing the convertible top assembly and decklid, cutting a notch into the rear bulkhead, and installing a fabricated tailgate, a custom tonneau cover, and a stainless-steel bed floor. Additional styling includes a one-piece removable targa-style roof panel, a roll hoop with a power-operated rear window, a Classic Design Concepts Shaker hood, a Cervini’s Stalker front bumper cover, sequential taillights, fog lights, power-adjustable side mirrors, polished side-exit exhaust outlets, Barris Kustom badging, and a Mustang script-debossed rear bumper cover. The selling dealer notes that some of the body kit components require fitment adjustments.
