Description
JUST ARRIVED FROM SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!!! 2000 TOYOTA 4RUNNER 5 SPEED Super White over Oak | One Owner | 2.7L 4-Cylinder | 5-Speed Manual | 190K Miles | Southern California | Rust Free Every once in a while, we come across a 4Runner that is just a little different from everything else we normally buy — and this one definitely qualifies! This absolutely exceptional 2000 Toyota 4Runner is finished in classic Super White over Oak interior and comes to us as a ONE-OWNER Southern California SUV. What makes this 4Runner especially unique is its configuration: the legendary 2.7L 3RZ-FE four-cylinder engine, five-speed manual transmission, and 2WD. This is the commuter 4Runner! LOL. No V6, no automatic transmission, and no four-wheel-drive system to haul around. Just a simple, incredibly durable four-cylinder engine, three pedals, rear-wheel drive, and everything you need in a third-generation 4Runner. You simply do not see many of these anymore, especially in this kind of condition. And condition is exactly why we bought this one. This is not the typical ultra-low-mileage vehicle you are accustomed to seeing here at Tyacke Motors. This 4Runner has 190,000 miles. But I have always said that mileage is only one piece of the puzzle when buying an older Toyota. If I am going to buy one with 190K miles, you can bet it is going to check EVERY OTHER BOX — and this one absolutely does. The exterior is exceptional. The Super White paint is beautiful, the body is straight, and the overall presentation is remarkable for a 26-year-old 4Runner with this mileage. There are no noticeable dings, dents, scratches, road rash, or rock chips. It is simply an incredibly clean, well-preserved Southern California Toyota. Underneath is exactly what we look for. The undercarriage is clean, dry, and completely free of the rust and corrosion that destroys so many of these third-generation 4Runners. This is why we spend so much time sourcing vehicles from Southern California and other dry western climates. When you get underneath this one, its history speaks for itself. The Oak interior is equally impressive and is about as clean as you will find. The seats, carpets, headliner, door panels, dash, center console, trim, and controls are all in fantastic condition. It is obvious this 4Runner was owned by someone who cared about it and took pride in maintaining it. It is sitting on period correct 16 inch aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in excellent tires all the way around, giving it exactly the clean, original appearance these trucks should have. Mechanically, this 4Runner is completely dialed in. It runs and drives absolutely beautifully. The 2.7L four-cylinder runs smooth and strong, the five-speed manual transmission shifts exactly as it should, and the clutch is strong, tight, and feels excellent. These 3RZ-FE four-cylinder engines have earned a tremendous reputation for simplicity and durability, and paired with a manual transmission, this is about as straightforward of a drivetrain as Toyota offered. Before offering it for sale, we thoroughly inspected and serviced the vehicle. It has received new shocks, new struts, new oxygen sensors, and fresh fluids throughout. The tires are in excellent condition, and everything has been gone through in preparation for its next owner. It is DONE. No list of deferred maintenance. No immediate projects waiting for the next owner. Get in it, turn the key, and enjoy it. The CARFAX report also shows an exceptional service history with nearly 20 documented service and maintenance records. Combine that with one-owner Southern California history, a rust-free chassis, outstanding cosmetic condition, and this extremely unusual drivetrain configuration, and you have a 4Runner that is becoming very difficult to duplicate. There are plenty of third-generation 4Runners out there with 190K miles. There are NOT plenty of one-owner Southern California examples that look like this. And there certainly aren't many Super White over Oak, four-cylinder, five-speed manual, 2WD examples left in this condition. This is exactly the kind of vehicle that proves why you cannot buy an older Toyota based on the odometer alone. Condition, ownership history, maintenance, climate, originality, and how a vehicle has been cared for matter tremendously — and this 4Runner checks those boxes. At Tyacke Motors, we specialize in finding exceptional, rust-free Toyota and Lexus vehicles from the West Coast and dry western climates. We are extremely particular about what we buy because our reputation has been built over four decades on the quality of the vehicles we sell. This 4Runner has been thoroughly inspected, serviced, detailed, and prepared for sale. It is CARFAX Certified with a clean title. Credit union financing is available for qualified buyers, and we work with customers all across the country. Nationwide shipping is available, and we are happy to assist with transportation anywhere in the United States. As always, additional photos, detailed undercarriage pictures, and a full 4K walk-around video are available so you can see exactly what you are buying. We are closed Saturdays for family day.
