Vehicle Description 2001 Acura CL $18,500 2001 Acura CL Type-S – 63k Miles Exceptionally Preserved White on Tan Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is excited to offer this remarkably well-preserved 2001 Acura CL Type-S, a luxury sport coupe that represents one of the most overlooked and rapidly appreciating performance cars of the early 2000s. Finished in elegant White over a beautifully maintained Tan leather interior, this CL Type-S is a rare opportunity to acquire an increasingly hard-to-find example with just 63,000 original miles. At the turn of the millennium, Acura was producing some of the most refined and technologically advanced vehicles in its history, and the CL Type-S was positioned at the top of the front-wheel-drive performance luxury coupe segment. Blending premium comfort, understated styling, and impressive V6 performance, the Type-S offered a driving experience that was both sophisticated and engaging. Today, surviving examples in this level of condition have become scarce, making clean, low-mileage cars highly desirable among collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate the era when Acura built vehicles renowned for their reliability, engineering excellence, and long-term durability. Under the hood sits Acura's celebrated 3.2-liter SOHC VTEC V6, producing a factory-rated 260 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque. Paired with an automatic transmission, this powertrain delivers smooth acceleration, effortless highway cruising, and the refinement that made Acura a benchmark among luxury imports. The Type-S package elevated the CL beyond a standard luxury coupe with enhanced performance tuning and distinctive styling cues that set it apart from lesser models. The exterior of this Acura presents exceptionally well in its factory White finish. The body lines remain crisp and elegant, showcasing the timeless styling that has aged remarkably well over the past two decades. Unlike many sport coupes of the era that were modified, neglected, or simply worn out through years of daily use, this example retains the clean, original appearance collectors increasingly seek. Inside, the Tan leather interior reflects the care this vehicle has received throughout its life. The seats, dashboard, door panels, carpeting, and trim all contribute to an atmosphere that feels far newer than its age would suggest. Acura's reputation for quality materials and thoughtful ergonomics is immediately apparent, creating a cabin that remains comfortable and inviting even by modern standards. For enthusiasts of Japanese performance and luxury vehicles, the CL Type-S occupies a unique place in Acura history. Produced in limited numbers compared to many mainstream sedans of the era, these coupes have quietly developed a following among collectors who recognize their combination of reliability, performance, comfort, and rarity. Finding one with only 63,000 miles, finished in a tasteful White-over-Tan color combination, and maintained in such exceptional condition is becoming increasingly uncommon. Whether you're an Acura enthusiast, a collector seeking a clean modern classic, or simply someone looking for a beautifully preserved luxury sport coupe from one of Japan's golden automotive eras, this 2001 Acura CL Type-S deserves serious consideration. This 2001 Acura CL Type-S combines low mileage, outstanding preservation, premium features, proven Honda engineering, and increasingly collectible status into one exceptional package that is ready to be enjoyed for years to come.
