2001 Mazda Miata

2001 Mazda Miata Convertible 1 Owner Since New Only 9,627 Orig Miles 6-Spd Few modern sports cars have earned the same reputation for purity, balance, and driver enjoyment as the Mazda MX-5 Miata, and this 2001 example stands out immediately thanks to its exceptional preservation. Showing only 9,627 original miles, this one-owner Miata has been garage kept since new, is backed by a clean CARFAX, and presents in remarkably fresh condition throughout. Finished in desirable Crystal Blue Metallic over a Tan leather interior, the color combination gives the car an upscale appearance while preserving the light, playful personality that made the Miata such a success. The factory Tan convertible top features a glass rear window, and a matching convertible boot is included for a clean, finished appearance when the top is lowered. The exterior is further enhanced by the factory Ground Effects option, adding a subtle sportier look without taking away from the car's original design. Power comes from Mazda's 1.8-liter DOHC inline-four equipped with variable valve timing. Paired with the desirable six-speed manual transmission, the combination delivers the quick response, precise shifting, and lightweight feel that Miata enthusiasts value. Rear-wheel drive and the car's compact proportions make it exceptionally engaging on winding roads while still remaining comfortable and easy to drive around town. Inside, the Tan leather interior remains exceptionally well preserved, reflecting the car's very low mileage and careful ownership history. A Nardi steering wheel and matching Nardi shifter add a premium performance touch, while the Special Edition-style white-face gauge package gives the cockpit a distinctive appearance. The driver-focused layout remains simple and functional, with all major controls positioned exactly where they should be. The factory Bose sound system provides upgraded audio quality, while the overall cabin retains the clean, uncluttered feel that has always been one of the Miata's strengths. With the top down, the car delivers a true open-air sports car experience; with the top raised, the glass rear window improves visibility and makes the car more comfortable in changing weather conditions. This Miata was recently serviced at a Mazda dealership, adding another level of confidence for its next owner. With just 9,627 original miles, one-owner history, garage-kept preservation, and a clean CARFAX, this is not the typical used Miata. It is the kind of low-mileage example that has become increasingly difficult to find as most cars from this generation have accumulated heavy use, modifications, or weather exposure. What makes this car especially appealing is how closely it still resembles a much newer vehicle. The paint, interior, trim, and overall presentation show exceptionally well, and the car's limited use has preserved the driving feel that made the second-generation MX-5 such a favorite among enthusiasts. With its Crystal Blue Metallic exterior, Tan leather interior, six-speed manual transmission, Nardi controls, Bose audio, factory Ground Effects, and incredibly low original mileage, this 2001 Mazda MX-5 Miata Convertible represents an outstanding opportunity to own a beautifully preserved modern classic. It is a one-owner, garage-kept example that shows nearly new and is ready for weekend drives, local shows, or continued preservation.
