The covers have been on for the last 50,000 miles and 10 years. There are no cracks in the wood inserts. During the shoot the photographer somehow dented the right front quarter panel down low. It was very slight. I was not there. So I had that fixed and at the same time I had the front and rear sanded and resprayed as well as the front hood and one new small dent on the top of the right front fender. There are new photos of the new work but they are not well distinguished from the pro photo shoot. Rest assured the body is clean. No pits, scratches or dents. I believe smog is only an issue depending on where you register it. It is in Merced, Calif about 100 miles east of San Fran.
