Earlier this year, car has been inspected by certified Mercedes-Benz mechanic and order of parts that needed to be replaced has been placed (photo 188), and they have been installed. Few weeks ago, I took the car to a large shop (photo 161) of a dealership that services all makes and models, to be put on a hoist and inspected prior the sale (and to make photos and videos of undercarriage). The mechanic that did the inspection, previously owned E400 and E320 (W124s) and was familiar with this model as well. I had a chat with him and he did not mention that the mounts need to be replaced. There are 3 small dots on the front passenger side door, that the rocks chipped the paint and they look rusty on the surface. I can also recommend a local independant Mercedes-Benz specialist mechanic shop or a qualified mobile mechanic, if you wish to pursue a pre-purchase inspection. Being 25 years old, this car qualifies for collector status plates and low insurance premiums in British Columbia.
