2002 BMW 540i 6-Speed

This Titanium Silver Metallic-over-black 2002 BMW 540i sedan remained registered in California through the seller’s purchase in 2017, and subsequent work included overhauling the suspension, VANOS, and cooling systems, along with replacing the clutch, timing chain guides, driveshaft center support bearing, alternator, engine mounts, tires, and assorted ignition, fuel delivery, power steering, braking, crankcase ventilation, and secondary air injection components. M Sport bumpers, 18″ Style 37 M Parallel alloy wheels, a billet aluminum differential mount, an aluminum radiator, Eisenmann rear exhaust components, a ZHP shift knob, an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, and a touchscreen Eonon head unit have been added, and power is provided by a 4.4-liter M62 V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. This E39 540i has 188k miles and is now offered at no reserve with parts invoices, a Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic and features Shadowline trim, xenon headlights, fog lights, tinted windows, and twin Eisenmann exhaust finishers. The Carfax report lists “minor damage” to the rear and front portions of the car in December 2015 and February 2019, respectively, the latter of which is said to have been caused by a tow hitch puncturing the front bumper and is shown in a photo in the gallery. A set of M Sport-specification bumpers with body-color moldings was sourced and installed following the 2019 incident, and paint protection film was applied to the front bumper and headlights.
