2002 Chevrolet Camaro SUPERCHARGED SS Convertible

Vehicle Description 2002 Chevrolet Camaro $40,995 Though there is no exact definition of a Pony Car, much like some other things in life, we know it when we see it. One look at this Sebring Silver Metallic 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Supercharged SS Convertible, with its believed original paint and body panels, and there is no mistaking it for anything but a tried-and-true late-model Pony Car. 2002 marked the final year for the Fourth Generation Camaro. This one-owner model stands out in particular thanks to its mere 19,255 original miles on the odometer and the addition of a Vortech blower installed by the original selling dealership. Inside, we find a clean, comfortable stock leather interior, highlighted by a supportive power-adjustable driver's seat, which sits in front of a four-spoke padded steering wheel with radio and cruise controls. An analog gauge cluster centers on a 7,000-rpm tach and a 150-mph speedometer, while the factory AM/FM/CD player uses push buttons to let the driver focus on the road ahead. A roomy center console armrest provides additional storage and a cup holder. The rear bucket seats don't offer much for full-sized adults, but they can be folded down to allow for plenty of cargo space. Power windows, locks, mirrors, cruise control, air-conditioning, airbags, and defeatable traction control round out this Camaro's list of modern amenities. Under that long, sleek hood, we find a fantastic numbers-matching 5.7-liter aluminum block and heads overhead valve LS1 V-8, which has been upgraded with a Vortech centrifugal supercharger and Maxflow Power Cooler air-to-water intercooling system . From the factory, this mighty mouse motor pumped out an underrated 325 horsepower and 345 pound-feet of torque, but with that blower installed, those numbers should blow past the stock figures (pun intended). That massive power is then funneled through a numbers-matching Tremec T56 six-speed transmission before heading out to the factory ten-bolt rear end, where 3.42 gears wait to transfer those ponies to the pavement via a set of 17-inch, ten-spoke chrome wheels shod in 275/ZR-1 BFGoodrich G-Force Sport Comp 2 tires ready to launch.
