It does not sound familiar to me. It was earlier for the R230 SL-Class cars (2001), but not the E. July 23rd, 2021 at 4:35pm ESTmcm1997 (9) 0Does this model have the sensotronic brake system? I think Mercedes started putting them in the E class in 2003 but want to be sure July 23rd, 2021 at 4:21pm ESThktheman (7) Seller 0@allenman yes it is in the Los Angeles area currently 91214 zip code. I did not have the transmission serviced though I have the VMI I submitted to mb market. Services that were performed were valve cover gaskets, rear shocks, differential bushings along with the axle seals. Mobil 1 synthetic oil change was done last week for the new owner. July 23rd, 2021 at 4:08pm ESTallenman (18) 0Is the car curretnly in the LA area? Any info on original evaporator, recent tranny service, paper records? AH I learn something new everyday! I always thought it was the 2002 cutoff because the sedan for 2003 was the new body I did not realize the wagon went the extra year. I just had no use for the 4matic in the wagon, the harshest conditions this wagon saw was drizzle in January LOLJuly 18th, 2021 at 9:22pm ESTUKCHAP (7) 0I wish it was a 4Matic because I have been looking for months and still can’t find one in Alabaster White with less than 100,000 miles. The last model year for the wagon was in 2003 and in the same year the 212 sedan arrived, I remember because I sold them back then. 😁 Good luck with the sale. July 18th, 2021 at 9:08pm ESThktheman (7) Seller 0@DapperWgn Thank you! Yes it took us a while to find a final model year in our desired white color choice with the non 4-matic RWD option. Something about an older Mercedes-Benz wagon with that bulletproof V6 that just runs forever.July 17th, 2021 at 4:09pm ESTDapperWgn (3) 0I've always loved these 210 wagons and finding a RWD example is not easy today.
