2002 Mercedes-Benz SL500 Silver Arrow

This 2002 Mercedes-Benz is one of 1,450 SL500 Silver Arrow convertibles produced for the US market to celebrate the company’s racing history, and it has 24k miles following the current owner’s purchase on BaT in December 2023 . Powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission, the car is finished in Silver Arrow Metallic over black and silver Exclusive leather. It is equipped with a removable hardtop, a black soft top, 18″ two-piece alloy wheels, xenon headlights, fog lights, automatic climate control, heated power-adjustable seats, and a Bose sound system with a six-disc CD changer. Work under current ownership included fluid changes along with replacing the left rear top hydraulic cylinder, crankshaft position sensor, battery, and fuel pump relay. This R129 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the owner’s name. All Silver Arrow edition examples were finished in Silver Arrow Metallic (777), and this example is equipped with a removable hardtop, a black soft top, xenon headlights, fog lights, heated side mirrors, and a power antenna as well as an AMG-styled front spoiler, side skirts, and rear apron. The third brake light and some of the convertible top hydraulic cylinders were overhauled in 2023, and the left-rear top cylinder was replaced in September 2026. There are cracks in the paint on the lower portion of the front bumper, scratches are shown on the right corner of the front bumper, and paint imperfections are noted near the hardtop mounting points.
