KEY FACTS This E46-generation BMW Alpina B3 3.3 Touring is a potent and refined modern classic performance estate with all-wheel drive. It is powered by a 3.3-litre naturally aspirated Alpina-tuned inline-six, driving all four wheels via a five-speed automatic Switch-Tronic transmission. First registered in 2003, this B3 Touring was originally delivered to Switzerland, later exported to the Netherlands, and is now registered in Poland. The odometer is understood to indicate approximately 145,500 km, though this is not warranted. The seller states that this is production number 65 of only 153 B3 3.3 Touring ALLRAD units produced. EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES The B3 3.3 was created by taking a 3.2-litre S52B32 engine and adding Alpina’s own modifications. A new cylinder head was fitted, along with a new crankshaft and camshafts, upgraded connecting rods and pistons, and a new intake and exhaust manifold. The suspension was also upgraded with stiffer springs and modified dampers, plus 330i brake discs with upgraded pads. Finished in Sapphire Black Metallic paintwork over a black leather-trimmed interior with brushed aluminium trim accents. It rides on a set of 18-inch Alpina multi-spoke alloy wheels with hidden valve stems, fitted with Continental WinterContact tyres.
