KEY FACTS This E46-generation BMW Alpina B3 S is a rare and sophisticated performance saloon, offering an engaging blend of sporting ability, everyday usability and long-distance comfort. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.3-litre inline-six, producing around 304PS and 362 Nm of torque, driving the rear wheels through a five-speed Switch-Tronic automatic transmission. First registered in Japan, this example was subsequently imported to Poland, where it is now registered, and it was acquired by the current owner in February 2022. This E46-era Alpina B3 S is understood to be one of just 250 saloon examples produced. The odometer is understood to show approximately 116,000 km, though this is not warranted. EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES Introduced in 2002, the Alpina B3 S was developed from the BMW E46 3 Series as a more comfort-oriented alternative to the contemporary M3. Its upgraded 3.3-litre inline-six delivered 304PS, while Alpina's suspension tuning and transmission calibration were intended to combine responsive performance with refined everyday driving characteristics. The B3 S was produced in relatively limited numbers, with a reported 2,320 examples manufactured across the E46 model range, including just 250 saloons. This example is finished in Alpina Blue II, complemented by silver Alpina ‘deco set’ graphics, the marque's aerodynamic styling package and 17-inch Alpina multi-spoke alloy wheels. The black cabin is upholstered in grey Alpina leather with contrasting blue and green stitching, and features a leather-trimmed Alpina steering wheel with signature stitching, Alpina wood veneer trim with distinctive emblems,
