I’m sure it could’ve been rectified if I hadn’t brought it back to Virginia and titled it in my name. We didn’t have the luxury of time to go to the DMV when I went up to New Jersey to purchase the vehicle unfortunately.July 9th, 2026 at 9:03pm ESTPowerballz (1) 0@Showcase78 The reason I ask, is due to a similar situation I went through a couple of years ago. The RMV in Mass (DMV in most states), recorded the mileage as 217k instead of 21k on an S430 that I purchased. However, it was rectified within two weeks and a new Title with the correct mileage was issued to me shortly after. During this process, the RMV stated that they don't report new Title and or registration info to Carfax or similar companies, until after 60 days. Me and my friend both called it that this would show up on MB market with this exact history background 10 months ago when it was sold. But carry on. Once I bought it, I had the necessary mechanical work done to make sure the car was sound, and had the wheels professionally powder coated and that's reflected in the presentation of the vehicle. None of this is unusual or something I've hidden — it's the same information that's been in the listing from the start. I don't think any of this is relevant to the sale, and I'm not going to treat it as something that needs justifying. If it is, just giving a heads up where it’s due. I still have the pictures to both ads and the sellers name, the second one was in NJ. Again, if it’s not the same car that’s my mistake.
