2004 Land Rover Discovery II SE

This 2004 Land Rover Discovery II SE7 is in excellent condition, it was bought as a project vehicle by Elk Mountain Motors in Asheville NC. Where it received thorough reconditioning and a few tasteful modifications. This started life out as a fully loaded SE7 with rear air conditioning and the jump seats. Everything works on the vehicle as it should, including the sunroofs. The discovery II for its final production years saw the return of the center diff lock on the LT230 transfer case and the 4.6 V8 from the outgoing Range Rover. These are truly the Best of the legacy solid axle Discovery model, and this is a clean example. It does have a salvage title, but this was due to hurricane Helene, the vehicle was at a used car dealership, and the entire inventory was salvaged. This vehicle was not damaged or flooded. There was about 4” of water in the parking lot and the D2 has a 20” wading depth. Here is a list of the work Elk Mountain Motors has done for this Disco II. 1. The head gaskets were replaced, and the cylinder heads were rebuilt (Common Disco II service). 2. The engine timing cover, water pump, and oil pan were removed and resealed or replaced. 3. The transmission was serviced with new fluid filter and pan gasket. 4. The transmission received a new XYZ switch (Common Disco II repair). 5. The ABS Shuttle Valves were replaced, and the wiring retrofit was performed (Common Disco II repair). 6. The rear bumper was replaced with an upgraded steel bumper 7. We installed a Terrafirma 2” lift kit with extended shocks and matching steering stabilizer. 8. We installed an adventure roof rack and ladder. 9. The engine has had a full tune-up including new injectors 10. The entire cooling system has been gone through and the radiator, all hoses, and thermostat have been replaced. 11. Every fluid has been changed on this Rover 12. The belt and alternator and all pulleys and tensioner have been replaced. 13. The truck was professionally detailed inside and out.
