2005 BMW F650GS Dakar

This 2005 BMW F650GS Dakar was acquired by the seller on BaT in April 2004, reportedly from its second owner. Subsequent service included flushing the fluids and replacing the tires, battery, drive chain, and fuel tank sending unit gasket. Finished in metallic blue and matte metallic white, it is powered by a liquid-cooled 652cc DOHC single paired with a five-speed transmission. Details include a half front fairing, a clear windscreen, a two-up seat, an engine guard, dual under-tail mufflers, alloy rims, front and rear disc brakes with Brembo calipers, and luggage provisions as well as a left-side auxiliary light with a Touratech mount. This BMW F650GS Dakar is now offered at no reserve with locking hard-sided panniers and mounting hardware, along with manufacturer literature, parts, an indoor bike cover, and a Louisiana title in the seller’s name. The half-faired bodywork is finished in metallic blue and matte metallic white with Dakar graphics. The 4.6-gallon fuel tank is located beneath the two-up seat, and additional equipment includes a clear windscreen, an engine guard, a tail-section storage compartment, a center stand, a side stand, luggage mounts, and left-side auxiliary light with a Touratech mount. The seller notes scratches and a broken faux-fuel tank fastener provision, close-up photos of which are presented in the gallery below.
