When Tom Peters was brought to the table to champion the design of the new C6 Corvette, he also turned to the Stingray for influence – not because of any affinity for retro car design – but because the Stingray contained elements in it’s design that made the car powerful and allowed it to make a bold statement of design for that era of Corvette.
