I also knew that my $10,000 bid has no chance of winning. To each his own, but my $10,000 bid is not quite as ridiculous as the opening bids. Why would you want to raise the price too quick early in the auction? From a buyers perspective, that makes no sense. If my max bid for this car is $50,000 why would I start with that?
