It also had a boogered up sound system and some New York ownership. This car was 9.5 out of 10 in presentation and replaced a well bought but cosmetically inferior version of the same year that was totaled by an errant driver. The vehicle presented here is much more original. The current price is extremely low. I own one nearly identical to the one being auctioned. Still looks great, solid drive train with naturally aspirated V8, and NO ABC to worry about. The car makes a great daily driver and is fast enough for 95% of drivers. And I love the absent B pillar. I continue to get a lot of compliments from people asking about the car. Yes the M113 Kompressor is faster but there is just something special about a pure N.A V8. No forced induction! If didnt have too many cars now, I would definitely bid to win this beauty! The rear main seal RMS holds back engine oil at the rear of the engine block it has absolutely nothing to do with transmission fluid. To answer your question you never fill transmission fluid through an engine seal. The transmission is completely separate sealed unit. As I noted in my maintenance break down, the transmission has been meticulously cared for with 3 full transmission fluid and filter services and requires zero top-offs. It operates flawlessly as seen in the video. The rhythmic noise in the video is from the inside/ interior which is the 6 CD player shuffling through which happens all the time when the CD player is energized at start then noise is gone usually the cycle is 30-40 seconds long.
