Glad you are enjoying yours!October 5th, 2022 at 5:01pm ESTthphon (0) 0@zachmac you know, I only put 6k on mine so far, but I drove a '06 DB9 earlier this week and I was surprisingly unimpressed with it, big shoes to fill October 5th, 2022 at 4:58pm ESTthphon (0) 0As owner of one of these beasts, sad that it didn't sell but sort of relieved because of the price heheOctober 5th, 2022 at 4:51pm ESTzachmac (157) 0@KatalyticMC sorry you didn't get a sale but no way I'd have sold it this cheap and there are certainly worse things in life than having to keep driving an SL65!October 5th, 2022 at 4:48pm ESTzachmac (157) 1Did everyone sleep in today?October 5th, 2022 at 4:30pm ESTzachmac (157) 0@KatalyticMC gotta ask, after putting 65k miles on an SL65 from new what do you replace it with? BTW, driving the white one today!October 5th, 2022 at 4:03pm ESTzachmac (157) 0Current bid is where these were selling for two years ago. It will probably take quite a bit more in today's market. GLWA to all. @JRdelaG no reason to think @M_de_Montespan 's bid would hold up.October 5th, 2022 at 1:47pm EST$34,500 bid placed by @ClassicalgeniusOctober 5th, 2022 at 10:59am ESTKatalyticMC (17) Seller 0@JerrySang Yes-both key fobs along with records are included with the car! Indeed a garaged car sure makes a difference and there is no lack of that with this Sl65. October 5th, 2022 at 3:56am ESTJerrySang (0) 0@KatalyticMC Does the car come with both sets of keys and any service paperwork? We have a great independent tech as well; pleased to see this car has had its check-ups...October 5th, 2022 at 3:46am ESTJerrySang (0) 0Wowza! I need this 65...Those seats look brand new, I assume a garage queen for the most part. I remember when these hit the showroom floors for astronomical retail values-seems these MBs have a special part in automotive history given this 600 horse engine. I am looking forward to this; wife is on board!October 4th, 2022 at 8:09pm ESTJRdelaG (0) 0Dear M. De Montespan Enjoy and ... contact me if you ever wish to sell her. October 4th, 2022 at 1:28pm ESTzachmac (157) 1@JRdelaG not sure what you are referring to as the R230 SL65 didn't offer a "performance package" other than the standard 604 hp and 738 ft-lbs of torque. There is no "P30" option on these.October 4th, 2022 at 12:58pm ESTJRdelaG (0) 0Sorry could not find the info. Does it have the performance package?October 4th, 2022 at 9:43am EST$32,500 bid placed by @JRdelaGOctober 3rd, 2022 at 8:15pm ESTM_de_Montespan (0) 0La voiture est magnifique! September 30th, 2022 at 8:10pm ESTKatalyticMC (17) Seller 0@zachmac thanks for the clarification! Not sure how this was missed as you stand correct! One less thing to have to service…ha…I saw the white SL65 you won on BAT; very nice car. September 30th, 2022 at 5:33pm ESTClutch (1) 0@zachmac Thanks! I stand corrected. As does the seller... September 30th, 2022 at 4:58pm ESTthembmarket (691) 0To all bidders please note the options Parktonic and Distronic are not featured on this car and the listing has been updated accordingly. September 30th, 2022 at 4:48pm ESTzachmac (157) 1@Clutch which is what happens when people who don't know these cars grab generic write ups and post them. The car has neither. Plenty of ways to know this. I happen to have cataloged every R230 SL65 ever built. 1) The data card for this car says none of the big three options exist. 2) there are no sensors on the front or rear bumpers for Parktronic, 3) there is no selector switch by the gear shift for Parktronic, 4) there is no thumbwheel by the gear shift for distronic, 5) the grill (picture 40) is not a distronic grill. September 30th, 2022 at 12:10pm ESTClutch (1) 0zachmac, the description clearly states that Parktronic and Distronic are present here. Seller, any chance of some good quality close up pics of the right side of the car as well as some chassis pics? Also, what are the date codes on the tires? Thank youSeptember 29th, 2022 at 5:19pm ESTzachmac (157) 0While being the highest production year and the most common color combo in 2005 this one is somewhat rare in what it doesn't have. It doesn't have Parktronic, Distronic or a Pano roof, none of the three "big" options which many find desirable. 1 of 161 MY 2055 SL65 "strippers" worldwide. You do however get to hear the significant 12 cyclinders roaring with the top down…truly mesmerizing!September 29th, 2022 at 10:57am ESTStarkermann (2) 0Air scarf?September 27th, 2022 at 8:07pm EST$30,000 bid placed by @EmarkSeptember 27th, 2022 at 7:28pm ESTKatalyticMC (17) Seller 1@Savanti yes, it was from a small scratch from when the owner was parking in his garage. No accident from collision or anything “major”. An emphasis on the “minor”, it has been dealer repaired and has zero flaws in the area. Thanks! September 27th, 2022 at 6:12pm ESTSavanti (0) 0Gorgeous car! Any information that can be shared regarding the damage reported on Carfax and the subsequent repairs associated with that incident?
