Description
Combining open-top driving with the performance of Porsche’s twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six, the 996 Turbo Cabriolet stands among the most capable variants of the marque’s first water-cooled 911 generation. As a non-S Turbo Cabriolet from the final model year of 996 production, this 2005 example is particularly uncommon. Finished in Black over a Black Full Leather interior, it is equipped with the desirable 6-speed manual transmission along with factory features including heated power-adjustable front seats, a Bose sound system, aluminum-look interior trim, and a remote six-disc CD changer. Subsequent upgrades include Rennkit electric rear spoiler actuators, Forge Motorsport silicone turbo hoses, and an updated infotainment system. Having spent the majority of its life registered in Florida and showing approximately 21k miles, this 996 Turbo Cabriolet is now being offered for auction in New Jersey.
Finished in Black (L041), the Turbo-specific bodywork features widened rear quarter panels with integrated air intakes, unique front and rear fascias, and a speed-activated rear spoiler. Additional exterior equipment includes xenon headlights, integrated fog lights, stainless steel exhaust outlets, red brake calipers, and a power-operated black convertible top. The factory rear spoiler mechanism has been upgraded with a Rennkit eRam system utilizing electric actuators in place of the original hydraulic setup. The seller notes that paint touch-ups have been performed on the driver-side door and quarter panel. 18” Turbo Twist wheels are mounted with Michelin tires displaying 2024 date codes. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
