Description
KEY FACTS A rare and exciting modern classic hot hatch, presented in a vibrant factory colour and benefiting from a few discerning upgrades. Powered by a 3.0-litre V6 engine, it drives the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. First registered in 2005, this example is a UK-delivered car. It has been owned by the seller for 10 years, and the previous ownership was 8 years. The odometer shows 41,772 miles. EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES This is one of only 354 RHD Phase 2 cars produced for the UK market, and one of just 1,309 examples worldwide. Finished in Iliad Blue over a cabin trimmed with black leather and blue Alcantara. Equipment includes climate control, cruise control, automatic lights and wipers, and stalk control for the radio. The car has been modified with an aftermarket Janspeed/Spike tail box and RenaultSport Trophy Recaro seats finished in blue Alcantara and leather. The original exhaust tail box and original seats will be supplied with the car. Accompanied by two keys, a C-Tec trickle charger, and a branded car cover. CONDITION Please refer to the photo gallery to assess the exterior and interior condition. Specific notes from the seller include: the front valance was previously damaged on a low kerb and had some cracks in the paint over the GRP, so this was repaired and refinished. The car was then treated to detailing with a full machine polish and ceramic coated. The front valance and front bonnet section were given an application of PPF. The seller also states that all four wheels were refurbished to the original aluminium-look paint. The brake callipers have all been refurbished with new powder coating when the discs and pads were also replaced. Being an early 2000s car, some of the interior plastic trim plasticises over time and becomes sticky. The central dash radio and AC panels were dismantled and all parts refinished in metallic dark grey as per original, plus the door pulls were replaced too. All work carried out by SG Motorsport.
