The 2006 BMW 330i, a member of the E90-generation 3 Series, paired precision engineering with everyday usability. Its 3.0-liter N52 inline-six was a technical landmark, using an aluminum-magnesium composite block to save weight, while Valvetronic load control and double-VANOS cam timing sharpened efficiency and throttle response. With 255 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque, it delivered smooth, linear power across a wide rev range.

Mated to the close-ratio Getrag six-speed manual, it offered crisp shifts and direct mechanical feedback. Rear-wheel drive, a near-perfect 50/50 weight balance, and a multilink rear suspension gave the chassis exceptional poise. Inside, quality materials and a driver-focused layout set the tone, while four-wheel disc brakes with dynamic brake control and Dynamic Stability Control provided confident, secure stopping and stability.
