Description
Marking the second generation of Porsche's beloved GT3 series, the 997 GT3 was unveiled in 2006 with a race-derived 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six exclusively paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Finished in Black over matching interior upholstery, this 2007 example is equipped with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), the Sport Chrono Package, Adaptive Sport Seats, the Carbon Interior Package, the Sound Package Plus, and more. Fitted with a Cantrell Motorsports roll cage and Öhlins coilovers, and treated to a recent oil service, this GT3 is now being offered for auction in New York showing approximately 40k miles on the odometer.
The 997 GT3 sports an iconic fixed rear wing, aerodynamically optimized front and rear fascias, and twin center-exit exhaust outlets. Finished in Black, this example features bi-xenon headlights, yellow ceramic brake calipers, and rides on factory 19" GT3 wheels wrapped in tires from 2022. The seller notes small chips on the lower front bumper and a few tiny chips on the passenger rear quarter panel, and paint meter readings suggest the hood has been refinished. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The interior is trimmed in Black with the Carbon Interior Package, including a carbon fiber switch panel and carbon fiber door sill guards, along with Adaptive Sport Seats, Porsche Crest-embossed headrests, silver seatbelts, a thick-rimmed leather steering wheel, an aluminum footrest, a fire extinguisher, and the Sound Package Plus. A Cantrell Motorsports roll cage has been installed, and the seller notes slight scuffs on the door sills while confirming that all gauges, electronics, and accessories are in proper working order.
