You're thinking of the M156 (NA 6.2L V8 from AMG). This car doesn't have that issue. October 4th, 2023 at 4:18pm ESTSvhamelly (6) 1@Mackdadae… You might be referring to the M156 6.2 liter engine (normally aspirated)of this era… depending on who you talk to it may or may not have had head bolt issues… some folks changed them out of an abundance of caution. On this car neither are an issue. I haven't read that CL65 suffer from head bolt issues. They mentioned that they replaced it before I bought the car. Looked like an expensive replacement.... There is a receipt with the car from a Virginia annual inspection so maybe it was cracked and failed inspection with the state but I'm not sure. No cracks or chips now - looks great.
