A few things to point out: - Extraordinarily clean W164. A lot of these have lived hard lives, but this car has been loved and cared for its entire life. - $23k in work by in the past year including HEAD BOLTS and LIFTER BUCKETS. All M156 engines need this. It's expensive. It has been done. Get in and drive. A turn key AMG. - It has lived in California and below the Mason-Dixon line. Warm climates. No salt roads. I personally do not buy anything from up North. This is a car I would consider purchasing for myself in that instance. - AMG enthusiast owned and comes out of a curated collection - Suspension refresh has been done including control arms - Thorough service records. The owners have been open wallet. This is the only way you want to buy a W164 AMG. - Garage kept example with an excellent interior. These M156 cams tend to pit and wear on the lobe peaks. The custom headers were a real chore for my team but my goodness did it make a world of difference. This is how all of them should’ve been originally. Such an angry wonderful thing, an M156 is something everyone should experience. Always told the owner id love to have this one. They can do the job with their eyes blindfolded though and I am buddies with the whole crew there. They are good people. Anything with a M156 part number -- the price doubles. Gotta pay to play. My E63 wagon hurts my wallet but these cars are so dang good and worth it. Luc
