Description
Marking the second generation of the Porsche GT3, the 997 GT3 was unveiled in 2006 with a race-derived 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six exclusively paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Black leather and Alcantara interior, this 2008 example is equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package, Adaptive Sport Seats, the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package, Exclusive Porsche-crested headrests, and factory red taillights. Modifications include a full-body clear paint protection film wrap, H&R lowering springs, black-painted GT3 wheels, a roll bar, and red seatbelts. Acquired by the seller here on PCARMARKET, this GT3 is being offered for auction in New York showing less than 26k miles on the odometer.
The 997 GT3 sports an iconic fixed rear wing, aerodynamically optimized front and rear fascias, twin center-exit exhaust outlets, and red brake calipers. This example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with the optional Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package and red taillights. The car has been modified with full paint protection film excluding the roof and window tints, while Rennline radiator protection screens and a GT3 vent screen kit have been added up front. Additionally, the factory 19" GT3 wheels were refinished in black under prior ownership, fitted with red center caps, and wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires. The seller notes the rear bumper was repainted and re-wrapped following curb rash. A windsheild chip is noted near the driver's side gasket, which occurred under prior ownership. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report and paint meter readings.
