This car is one of two P51 prototype cars that were modified with the P51 supercharged engines producing 510HP and 510Lbs Torque. With only 11k miles, car is absolutely flawless inside and out, top to bottom. If you are not familiar with the P51 Roush P51 Mustang, it was themed after the famous P-51 WWII American Fighter plane (you can also Google all of this). There were a limited 151 Roush P51s produced in '09 and they were painted silver with an Olive Drab hood stripe to replicate the looks of the fighter plane. All were equipped with the Roush Appearance Package, consisting of; front and rear facias, wheels, seat embroidering, Roush gauges, etc. In addition to the 151 serialized P51s, there were two produced as prototype/special order cars without the Roush Appearance package but with the P51 Roush engine - this car is one of the two. A dealer can install Roush Stage III superchargers that will deliver 435HP from the stock 300HP 4.6 engine, but the P51 engines were ONLY done at the Roush facility because it involved adding new pistons, H-Beam Connecting Rods, 8 Bolt Crank, heavy duty clutch, Hi volume fuel pump, 60 lb injectors, a new tune and the R2300 Supercharger. And trust me, with 510HP, this car is a blast to drive!!! All of the above is fully documented and there are Jack Roush signatures in the engine compartment and also on the dashboard! It also has the Roush P51 plaques on the dash and in the engine compartment and also has the Roush fender badges and windshield banner. This is also a 45th Anniversary GT!
